Jerry

Luther aka Jerry is a 5 year old white male. At least he's supposed to be white. He came to us in very poor condition. He's getting healthier everyday. Luther was lucky enough to spend a few weeks in a nice home in order to get healthy. Here's what his foster parents said about him... Luther is a very good boy. He loves being with people. He really enjoys going for walks and he is a joy to walk with. He doesn't pull at all on the leash and heels very well. He enjoys car rides and behaves well in the car, although occasionally he does try to sneak in the front seat, but one of those seat covers that create a barrier between the front seats helped that.

He is a very gentle boy. There is no fear of nipped fingers when giving him treats. He bonds quickly. He is housebroken. He only had a couple accidents when he was sick.

He would love to steal into your comfy armchair, but a "no" is enough to prevent it.

He had a couple visits to Petsmart, where he interacted with other dogs. He's had some nice sniff-feasts with a four month old German Shepherd, our neighbor dogs, a chocolate lab named Katie and an Alaskan Malamute named Gunther. I wouldn't trust him fully around smaller dogs. No cats either.

An ideal home for him would be someone that works from home, or someone retired who could give him the attention he loves! Someone who he could just hang out with and go for walks.

Luther is a REALLY good boy!
