Vernon

Vernon is a favorite among our volunteers! Spend a little time to getting acquainted with him and you'll find him to be the most affectionate and loving dog. Vernon loves to wrestle, go for walks and take treats. He would also make an excellent hiking partner. He goes on frequent hikes with one of his favorite volunteers and he's absolutely perfect with any dog he meets on the trail. He even went on a hike with a little Bichon friend of his and a large lab mix, they had a blast! He walks beautifully on the leash and will make you smile when he sits proudly on command and gazes up into your eyes for approval. Those soulful eyes are irresistible! He also knows down and stay but he will often roll over for a belly rub. That's his favorite. Vernon is incredibly loyal, and protective so when you come and meet him he might be a little intimidating at first but thats only because he doesn't know you. Once he does he will love you forever... Oh, and did we mention has a stunning sable coat. What an amazing canine companion!
