Ways to help.

German Shepherd Rescue is a 501c3, non-profit organization, and is supported solely by donations. All donations and contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law.

If you are considering making a large donation or allocating money from your will or life insurance and you need a 990 form please email us and we will send you one.

Our most pressing need is for monetary donations.   However, if you cannot help financially, please look at the other ways you can help.

There are so many German Shepherds who need our help, and many of them need urgent medical treatment. Often, the decision to save a dog’s life can boil down to our ability to pay for his or her medical bills. This can become very expensive, and can quickly drain our resources. But when a dog needs help, we do our best to get them the treatment that they require. We depend on our supporters to help us to pay for these life-saving expenses.

If you wish to make a tax-deductible donation to any of the “Special Funds” shown here, please make your check payable to “German Shepherd Rescue” and mail it to:

German Shepherd Rescue
“Special Funds”
417 N. Moss Street
Burbank, CA 91502

Please write the name of the dog on your check or include a note with your contribution so that we can direct the money properly.

You can also use a creditcard through PayPal (No PayPal account required):

If you would like to send a donation directly to the veterinary office for any of the dogs, contact us and we will give you all of the information. Please let us know which dog you would like to help.

Without your support, we can’t continue to help these dogs. Please make it possible for these shepherds to have the happy life that they deserve. We appreciate every donation, and all donations go directly towards the care of the dogs! We are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit charity, and your contributions are tax-deductible. Thank you for helping!
